Our Impact
To mark 30 years of positive economic and societal impact, UCLB has published its inaugural Impact report. The 28pp publication features interviews, case studies, statistics and insight from the spinout businesses formed to commercialise and scale UCL academics’ innovations. Impact examines the stories behind the diverse technologies from UCLB, from new gene therapies for hard-to-treat cancers, to remote sensing technologies that protect critical public infrastructure. Meanwhile, UCLB’s innovative social ventures are put in the spotlight, including organisations helping children to eat more healthily and efforts to create upcycled paint from mining waste.
